Dante Bellini – Owner

Born and raised in Rhode Island, Dante first learned about pickleball while attending Toll Gate High School (class of ‘02) in Warwick, RI. However, it wasn’t until 2017 that he reconnected with the sport through playing in a league with friends that he became a passionate player in his own right. The jump from occasional hobby to obsession became more pronounced with each passing year. In early 2021, he had begun putting business plans together for an indoor facility. The plans evolved, and finding a team and a facility proved to be difficult. That dream would finally begin to become a reality when Centerline Pickleball LLC was incorporated in October of 2023.

When he’s not lobbing and dinking his way around a court, Dante can usually be found at one of Rhode Island’s wonderful beaches with his wife Liz and their two small children or at Providence City Hall, where Dante serves as the Controller for the City of Providence.

Alicia Turner – PPR Certified Associate Coach

Alicia has played a variety of sports over the years. Soccer, softball and now pickleball which was love at first dink.  She has been playing pickleball for 3 years recreationally and competitively and is now a PPR Certified Associate Coach.

Alicia enjoys the contrast of team sports to the partnership of pickleball and she offers a unique coaching style as a result.  Not surprisingly, she assigns high value to teamwork and often illustrates the connection between foundational mechanics and teamwork. She can help improve the foundational mechanics of the basic shots; serve, drive, drop, or dink.  Alicia can also help with court positioning and optimization. Alicia plans to help grow our Youth and High School programs along with private lessons and clinics for everyone.

Centerline continues to build its teaching staff and invites potential instructors to Contact Us or any one of our instructors for possible opportunities.
